Food Hygiene & HACCP Awareness Training
This course satisfies the criteria of the FSAI Training level 1 & 2. This course is run as a public course or can be run on site/inhouse if preferred.
Who is it for?
Individuals with no previous food handling experience or those currently working – chef, kitchen porters, delivery, deli staff, individuals from all sectors of the food industry Catering, Production, Manufacturing, Creche, Start up’s and Back to Work schemes.
Course Description
The course will be tailored to meet the requirements of your business and will include the following:
Food Hygiene Awareness
Contamination and Infection Control
Allergen Awareness
Safe Food Methods e.g delivery, storage, cooking, hot holding etc
Personal Hygiene
Pest Control & Cleaning Awareness
Food Premises Layout
Legislation
HACCP / Food Safety Systems – Monitoring & Records
Certification:
On successful completion of a short test paper candidates will be certified by SMC Food Safety Management Consultants. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
Duration: This course is run over 1 day (usually 9.30-4.30pm)
